Yoon Eun Hye for High Cut
TWITTER PARTY OF THE ENGLISH SPEAKERS (omg haha lol this is the best)
Non- Muslim “blackjacks” are literally writing text posts starting off with “You Muslims, Muslims this, Muslims that”
The racism stemming from this whole situation is more disturbing than the actual situation itself.
I’m no longer gonna reblog a lot of kpop or incorporate kpop onto my blog as much because some k-pop fans are batshit crazy and refuse to open their eyes to problematic shit. You can still love you’re idol while acknowledging they did wrong, like being a good fan isn’t about accepting and defending everything your idol does right???
The Quran is EXTREMELY sacred to Muslim people. People’s religions is not something to joke about. It’s disrespectful and disgraceful. Fans that are saying she’s not worried about nothing and it’s not a big deal are being really insensitive. The validity of using the Quran in that way is actually an all time low for YG.
you know good and goddamn well muslim fans aint throwin around no death threats shut the everlasting fuck up
This anon is grouping all Muslims together. Since when did a couple of bad apples who decided to send death threats constitute all Muslim black jacks??? She needs to stop appropriating people’s culture. All Kpop artist (especially YG artist) need to.
idk let me text him
The Housemaid (2010) Movie Review
Notable Faces: Yoon Yeo-jeong
My Thoughts: The Housemaid is one of those k-films you’ve heard aboutwhether it’s good or bad, I feel like its well known. After along time of ignoring its existence and seeking out movies starring my faves, I finally decided to give it a chance. It was very entertaining and well scripted. While the ending was a little crazy and confusing at the same time, I enjoyed this film, for the most part. It has a gothic element to it, a wealthy and cutthroat family living in big mansion hires a naive maid. The older and more seasoned maid sort of takes her under her wing but doesn’t really speak much. You can almost tell that there is misfortune to come because of the sort of carelessness of the young maid. Eventually she decides to carry on with an affair with the man of the house. Things just go downhill from there. Something that was very interesting about the film to me was that the older maid implies that the younger maid is either naive or slow. But at the same time there are shots of the young maid’s face that seem to show cleverness and a sort of mischievousness. Like she has more awareness of the events and her actions than she lets on. The family itself is almost a very typical depiction of a rich family. Business mogul father, young can’t-be-bothered child and spoiled wife. But another thing is evident; the women of the family will do anything to preserve and keep it’s good name. In the end I wanted more from this movie, and I thought it would be more interesting. Almost everything occurred in a house or hospital. But at the same time my eyes were glued to my computer screen and I was hooked.
Should You Waste Your Time?: Its an interesting film and I didn’t find it boring so…not a fave though either.
